TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CANCELLATION CHARGES
Hotels
- 21 days or less – 100% cancellation charge
- Between 22 days and 28 days – 50% cancellation charges or the equivalent of the first two days of charges depending on the programme and period of stay
- Above 29 days – No cancellation charges provided no commitment or advances are made to third parties
Transport
- 7 days or less – 10% cancellation charge from total (minimum charge USD 75.00)
- Above 7 days – No cancelation
Helicopters
- 48 hrs or less – 100% cancellation charge
- Between 3 – 5 Days 50%
- Between 5 – 7 Days 25%
- Above 7 days – No cancellation
ROOM REQUESTS
Where special requests eg: room locations, interconnecting / adjacent rooms, double / twin beds, smoking / non-smoking rooms, etc. are an important factor in the choice of holiday, please advise us when the booking is made. We will pass on your request to the hotel but cannot guarantee that it will be accommodated.
IMPORTANT NOTE
There may be an unforeseen escalation in fuel prices, new taxes / levies on hotels and transportation services or hikes in entrance fees; any large tax hikes and new levies shall also be payable extra and shall be billed accordingly with reasonable prior notice.
GENERAL REMINDER
- The programme is based on the availability of the hotel rooms at the time of forwarding the quotation. As such, rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- Due to high occupancy / demand, the hotels accept only the confirmed bookings.
- Once our proposal is accepted, the final confirmation will be forwarded along with the relevant overnight stays and itinerary. We will do our best to book the mentioned hotels or alternate similar category hotels.
- In case of any price fluctuations due to change of hotels, we will send a revised quotation.
HOTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The standard check-in time at all hotels will be 12:00pm to 02:00pm
- The standard check-out time at all hotels will be 11:00am.
- Hotel check-in / check-out times are fixed and there are no guarantees for early / late check-in / out unless paid for
Passenger’s Responsibility
- The guest is responsible for consequences of illness and/or accidents and must pay possible expenses to doctors, hospitals, ambulances, and special transports.
- It is the guest’s responsibility to have adequate medical insurance for such eventualities.
- EB also recommends that guests obtain travel insurance with full cancellation cover.
- Guests shall be responsible for ensuring that all visa, immigration and health requirements are fulfilled.
- Guests hereby expressly acknowledge that all activities, services made available and/or recommended by EB and utilized by the Client shall be at the Client’s risk and EB shall not be responsible for any damage or injury to the Client in this regard unless caused by the negligence of EB.
- The guest’s will take responsibility of their own behavior and will reimburse EB or its suppliers any damage caused by negligent or reckless behavior by guest.
REFER A FRIEND
To refer a friend:
- You must have travelled with us before
- When referring a friend to us, please ensure that they quote your name at the time of enquiring for their first holiday
- When your friend travels on their first holiday with us, you will receive a discount of USD 100.00 off your next holiday with Equator Blu
- This discount will be applied to the final balance of your next holiday with Equator Blu
- This discount can be applied at either the deposit or final balance payment stage of your next holiday with Equator Blu
- There are no limitations to the number of referrals that you can apply to one Equator Blu
- Should the value of your referrals exceed the value of your holiday, you can transfer the excess value on to your next Original Travel holiday
The friend:
- You must quote your referrer friend’s details at the time of enquiring
- Once you have travelled on an Original Travel holiday, you can benefit from the same referral opportunities as your referrer friend
